What is Zaloba and who is behind it?
Zaloba is a calm, privacy-conscious communication platform designed for desktop and mobile messaging, high-fidelity voice notes, 48-hour status updates, and group collaboration. It is designed, engineered, and operated by Lienskill Limited.
What is a Zaloba Number and why is it used?
A Zaloba Number is a unique 16-digit personal handle (PREFIX@16DIGITS) where the prefix is derived automatically by the platform. It is a permanent, public handle that allows you to exchange contacts and pair authorized devices.
How does Zaloba Web work?
Zaloba Web is a full-featured web client accessible at web.zaloba.chat. It allows you to send messages, review media, listen to voice notes, and manage conversations from any modern desktop browser without downloading an executable. You authenticate by scanning a short-lived QR challenge using the Zaloba app on your phone.
Why does Status last for 48 hours instead of 24 hours?
We found that 24 hours often feels too fast and induces continuous notification fatigue. A 48-hour duration gives close friends and colleagues enough time to see your updates at their own pace. When 48 hours lapse, the status media and notes automatically expire from active feeds.
Who can see my 48-Hour Status?
You control your status audience using privacy presets: Everyone, My Contacts, or Whitelist. You can also exclude individual contacts whenever you choose.
Does the Zaloba website track me or load ad scripts?
No. The Zaloba public website does not load advertising trackers, analytics tags, or third-party marketing scripts. Our platform is built for direct communications and team collaboration.
Can I make audio and video calls on Zaloba?
Group calling and conference experiences are being developed for Zaloba. Our design allows teams to move naturally from a discussion channel into a live audio or video meeting when real-time coordination is required.
What is the Zaloba AI Note Taker?
AI Note Taker is being developed as part of the Zaloba meeting experience. It is designed to capture core outcomes into three clear categories—Important Points, Decisions, and Follow-Up items—so participants can focus on collaboration rather than manual note-taking.
How do I disconnect a computer or revoke access?
You can open the Zaloba app on your primary mobile device, navigate to Settings > Linked Devices, and see a full list of all active browser sessions with timestamps. You can terminate any or all sessions instantly with one tap.
When will the mobile apps be available?
Mobile applications for Android and iOS are in preparation. Updates and release announcements will be published on our Downloads page.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account at any time within the app settings under Account > Delete Account. This action unlinks your Zaloba Number, removes your contact associations, and clears stored messages from our delivery infrastructure.
